I look up at the stars

And I swear ill make them ours

If only you’ll drive fast enough

It seems like all the car’s

Lights that shine so bright

Might carry me tonight

Sweep me up right off my feet

In this enchanted flight.

You turn up the music, but we both know the tune

Breathe in the air and reminisce of summer’s night in june

So we roll down all our windows, and drive faster still

There will be no forgetting, this effervescent thrill

I look up at the stars

And I swear ill make them ours

It seems like all the car’s

Lights that shine so bright

Might carry me tonight

Sweep me up right off my feet

In this enchanted flight.

It’s amazing how you know, the things that I won’t show

And how one smile from your lips can cause me so to glow

So keep driving to the night, for this time I feel I might

Keep falling in this gyre of hope that this might be just right
